miniBee r3

was designed in Korea commissioned by Samsung Art and Design Institute (SADI). It helps integrating an Arduino Mini or chip with equivalent pin-outs to an XBee radio modem. It also makes all the stamp's pins available for you to solder your sensors.

On the board's sides you will have to solder a voltage regulator and a couple of SMT resistors for interfacing the XBee with the Arduino through the serial port. There is also room for a reset button, a LED to indicate there is power in the battery and connectors for the extra analog pins on the standard Arduino Mini boards.

This board is completely equivalent to the miniBee r3 but pushes things into a board that is half the size. If you are interested in getting not only the board but also the components in it, check the equivalent product in our DIY kits department.

Which Arduino fits this board?

Is it really for the ancient Arduino Mini or would it fit the current day Arduino Pro Mini 328 from SparkFun?

works for both

as long as they have the smae pinout for the Serial port, it works for both
